

I first met Adam over a burned-out clutch on one of my office’s cars. The car was back in our hands quickly and running like new. He took me into his shop to show me what the bad clutch looked like and explained how he replaced the clutch and repaired the car, making it clear he took pride in his work and thought of customers as people who deserve to know what’s going on under the hood. Being a woman, I find many auto-repair persons treat me as if I know nothing about cars. Adam doesn’t. He takes time to help customers understand what he does and why and does it with a huge smile and a couple jokes.
He is one of the most efficient, no-nonsense, and knowledgeable mechanics I’ve ever worked with. I can honestly say I enjoy taking my car in! Adam now takes care of the Santa Fe Art Institute’s fleet, my personal car, and my friends’ cars and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
